New Lift Installations

Our new lift installation process will generally take between 5 to 16 weeks to complete, depending on the requirements of the project. Factors that would affect the length of time for your installation would include the number of floors, the size of the lift, the specifications in terms of design and more. A price estimation will be given to you once the initial inspection is completed and every requirement has been discussed.

The cost of a lift installation can vary, depending on the size of the lift, the requirements and how many floors the lift will need to supply. That being said, our new lift installations can cost between £50,000 and £200,000+. We will be able to give a rough estimation of the cost of a lift installation over the phone; however, a more accurate price will be given once the initial inspection has been completed.

Yes, regular maintenance is required once the lift installation has been completed. With Caledonian Lifts, we are happy to supply you with a service agreement. This agreement with us offers maintenance visits 4, 6 or in some cases, 12 times a year, depending on the agreement. When a lift is used frequently, regular maintenance must be completed to ensure the smooth running and safety of your lift. Additionally, we also offer a 1-year warranty with our lifts after the installation, and this can be extended if required.

We also offer lift repairs if your lift breaks down. We offer our lift repair services whenever you need them, no matter where you are located in the UK. Our operating hours are 24/7 for repairs, which cover minor faults, emergency breakdown repairs, door mechanisms, motor issues, control systems malfunctions, hydraulic or traction faults and replacing worn components.

We can act immediately for breakdowns, including when trapped passengers are involved. This will be considered an urgent case, so we respond quickly and efficiently.
