Meet the Team - Scott Crossley

Scott started his apprenticeship with a national lift company where upon completing his time he became a part of the service and call out division. An opportunity became available at a national Otis Elevator owned company where Scott joined as a Repairs Engineer.

After working through various progression routes from Repair Engineer, to Service and Call Out Engineer, to Senior Call Out Engineer, to Junior Technician, to Regional Technician, to Senior Technician and eventually to Senior Technician, Senior Test Engineer and Senior Commissioning Engineer Scott then joined Caledonian Lifts Manchester as our Technical Manager before being promoted to our Technical Service Director where he is responsible for our entire service, repair and technical department.

Scott heads up our technical support team who deals with all issues from on site problem solving to testing and commissioning of new and refurbished equipment and everything in between. As part of his career Scott has gained various qualifications from NVQ 2’s in Engineering, NVQ 3’s in Lifts, Electrical Engineering and Electrical Installation, NVQ 4’s in Technical Support and Commissioning of Lifts to various health and safety courses including IOSH Managing Safely qualifications.

In his spare time Scott does something a little different from the usual football politics often spoken about in our office, this is martial arts, something Scott has a passion for. He trains at least 6 times a week in Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA itself. Scott is currently a Blackbelt in Kickboxing.
